What should you know before ordering an OAA?

 SCX10ii vs Capra vs VS4-10

The OAA is a highly customisable chassis just like the C3. There are SCX10ii/Capra or VS4-10 platform to choose from. VS4-10 version offers better scale look and performance thanks to its front heavy LCG nature, while SCX10ii offer great flexibility for using different skids and transmission. 

Both transmission routes offer overdrive/dig servo mounts to add as option. However, due to the size of the chassis, only mini servo mounts are available.

If you are running Capra axles with axle mount servo, you will need to run aftermarket LCG servo mount as the normal one will interfere with the chassis. If you want to run 4ws, you can use LCG axles-mount-servo at the back.

Standard high lifted vs relocated multi holes front shock mount

The standard high lifted shock mount is a complete new design and tailor-made for the OAA. Weld joints of the shock mount tabs are perfectly cut, maximising the welding surface between the tabs and chassis tube, offering the best strength and durability.

The standard high lifted shock mount goes as a pair with the front link set that come with the chassis, as the front shock angle is fixed. If you want extend or customise the front wheelbase of the chassis, you will need to order the relocated multi holes front shock mount instead.

The relocated multi holes front shock mount offer alternative for buyer to customise their builds.

The winch servo and steering servo 

The steering servo can be used as winch servo if you are using LCG axle-mount-servo. Standard axle-mount-servo will interfere the chassis due to the limited size of the chassis.

The new servo mount has been modified for easier installation.

Choosing options and accessories

Options welded directly to the chassis including fuel cap, light bar mounts, winch fairlead mount need to be order with the chassis. Other options such as light bar can be order separately. 

Payment and lead time

Every chassis at RC Speedy is made to order. 150USD deposit is required for each chassis. Average lead time is 3-5 weeks.

After you customized your chassis and deposited an order, it will be signed up to our production schedule. We will contact you (within 2 weeks) when we work on your order and keep you updated until it is done.
